On August 2, 2022, Chinese Consul General in Penang Mr. Lu Shiwei led a delegation to inspect Risen Solar Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah and conduct a field inspection of safety.

Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei listened to the introduction about the enterprise’s factory construction, production and operation, product technical features, safety training, and epidemic prevention and control measures made by the relevant person in charge, and inspected the production department. Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei said that Risen Solar Technology Sdn. Bhd. overcame the difficulties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic to promote the construction of the factory efficiently and already start production, showing the vitality and efficiency of the Chinese enterprises that are implementing the “go global” strategy. It is hoped that in its future development in Malaysia, the enterprise would actively integrate into the local society, operate in compliance with laws and regulations, establish a good image of Chinese enterprises, pay attention to safety of production and construction so that accidents can be effectively averted, enhance epidemic prevention and control, and care for the health of the employees. The Consulate General will, as always, provide support, assistance, and necessary consular protection for Chinese enterprises and Chinese citizens.

The relevant person in charge of Risen Solar Technology Sdn. Bhd. thanked Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei for his concern and guidance, and said that the enterprise will continue to overcome the difficulties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, etc., focus on production, and contribute to the promotion of local economic and social development and China-Malaysia pragmatic cooperation.
