On July 28, 2022, Chinese Consul General in Penang Mr. Lu Shiwei led a delegation to inspect Global Fine Wood Sdn. Bhd. and Evergreen Wood Industry Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Ketil, Kedah for learning about the production and operation of the enterprises, and conducting a field inspection of safety. 

Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei listened carefully to the briefing provided by General Manager Mr. Dave Wang and Ms. Su Zhan, the General Manager of Zhejiang Yuhua Timber Co., Ltd., which is the Chinese investor of the enterprises, about the development plans, business operation, production safety, and epidemic prevention and control measures of the enterprises. Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei said that Global Fine Wood Sdn. Bhd. and Evergreen Wood Industry Sdn. Bhd. are the representatives of private Chinese enterprises going global. The enterprises should make plans with a view to realizing long-term development in Malaysia, actively utilize the favorable business environment and investment policies of Malaysia, strictly abide by local laws, regulate the production and business operations acts, strengthen production safety management, investigate various risks and hidden danger in a timely manner, effectively implement epidemic prevention and control measures, actively fulfill corporate social responsibilities, integrate themselves into the local society, and establish a good image of Chinese enterprises. Chinese Consulate General in Penang will practice the principle of diplomacy for the people, and continue to provide support and services for the development of Chinese enterprises.
