On March 23, 2022, Chinese Consul General in Penang Mr. Lu Shiwei led a delegation to pay a visit to Jinjing Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah for a research on the enterprise’s production and operation, as well as its epidemic prevention and control situation.

Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei listened carefully to the introduction about the enterprise’s business operation, production safety, epidemic prevention and control measures and development plans. The introduction was made by Mr. Cui Wenchuan, General Manager of Jinjing Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei spoke highly of the enterprise’s achievements in coordinating epidemic prevention and control with production and operation, and also acknowledged its positive contribution to local economic development and employment. He expressed his hopes that Jinjing will strengthen the publicity of the enterprise, maintain effective communication with relevant local organizations and associations, continue to work hard to expand business, and promote the pragmatic cooperation between China and Malaysia and high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. Chinese Consulate General in Penang will provide assistance and support for the development of Chinese enterprises in the local area and make every effort to provide service guarantee for these enterprises.

Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei also visited Jinjing’s production department and glass production line.

General Manager Mr. Cui Wenchuan said that the enterprise will strictly abide by local laws, carry out production and operation in compliance with laws and regulations, actively fulfill social responsibilities, establish a good image of Chinese enterprises, and contribute to China-Malaysia local cooperation and Belt and Road cooperation.

The headquarters of Jinjing (Group) Co., Ltd. is located in Zibo, Shandong Province. Since the establishment of the first glass company in China in 1904, the company has been inheriting the development history of China’s flat glass industry. In 2017, in response to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Jinjing invested in Malaysia to set up factories. Over the past five years, it overcame difficulties in infrastructure, personnel, and the pandemic, and officially started production in January this year.
