On January 30, 2021, on the eve of the Chinese New Year, Chinese Consul General in Penang Mr. Lu Shiwei paid a visit to JA Solar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. to extend best regards and Chinese New Year greetings to the Chinese employees.


Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei said that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many compatriots were unable to return home to reunite with their families and celebrate the Spring Festival. What always concerns the Consulate General is the well-being of every compatriot in the consular district, and we will always stay on our post with everyone as your strong backing. Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei spoke highly of everyone’s spirit of sacrifice for remaining steadfast to their posts overseas during the festival, and hoped that everyone would continue to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control regulations, perform their duties, contribute to the Belt and Road and China-Malaysia pragmatic cooperation, welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and free the motherland and their relatives from worries. Consul General Mr. Lu Shiwei wished everyone a healthy, safe, and peaceful holiday.
